S7E6-GREAT LOOP 2-Leg 35-Marathon Key, FL to Key Largo, FL


After a month-long stay at Marlin Bay Marina in Marathon Key, it’s time to move on! We make the roughly 70-mile trek up the Keys to Key Largo, where we’ll spend the night and decide whether conditions are right to make the crossing to the Bahamas tomorrow. The wind and seas are a little sporty as we leave Marathon, which definitely gets the nerves going! Thankfully, conditions settle down as the day goes on, giving us a beautiful run up the Florida Keys along the Atlantic side.
