After months of traveling, we finally do something completely different…
We stay put.
For the first two weeks of our month-long stay at Marlin Bay Resort & Marina in Marathon, Florida, Andromeda becomes our home base as we slow down and enjoy the Florida Keys. We discover an incredible community of boaters and fellow Loopers, take in the Celtic Festival, spend time at Dockside Bar, explore Sombrero Reef, and welcome our daughters Sarah and Laura, along with Will, to Marlin Bay. After constantly moving from one destination to the next, there’s something pretty special about not having to move Andromeda every morning. No rushing. No worrying about tomorrow. Just family, friends, boat projects, and enjoying where we are. But the Bahamas are waiting. With two more weeks in Marathon, we’ll finish our projects, provision, spend more time with family and friends, and get Andromeda ready for the next adventure.
