S7E3-GREAT LOOP 2-LEG 34-Ft. Myers Beach FL to Marathon Key FL


This morning we’re up early and heading south toward a destination that’s still a little uncertain. From Fort Myers south, there is no Intracoastal Waterway for this stretch, so we’ll be heading outside into the Gulf of Mexico. Our ultimate goal is Marathon, Florida — but getting there is going to be a long day. We’re looking at 134 miles in a single day! Can we make it all the way to Marathon? Will the Gulf cooperate? And what will we find waiting for us when we finally get there?
